These bandage scissors are designed with a blunt tip, and a small head at the end that makes it easier to cut bandages. These scissors come in two types, namely Knowles and Lister. The base of these scissors is longer, which makes it easier to cut bandages. The blunt tip is designed to prevent injury during the process of removing the bandage.
In addition to being used to shape and cut bandages before covering wounds, these scissors are also safe to use to cut bandages that have been placed on wounds.
Feature:
- Can be sterilized by autoclave up to 143°C.
- Specifically for cutting gauze/bandages.
- The handle is made of colored plastic, while the cutting part is made of stainless steel.
